FENNEL ESSENTIAL OIL (Foeniculum Vulgare)

Fennel essential oil is extracted from Foeniculum vulgare var. dulce, which is sweet
fennel of the Umbellifere (Apiaceae) family, and is also known as fenkel and Roman fennel.
This essential oil is used in aromatherapy to boost courage, resolve and strength in the face of adversity, while helping a huge array of digestive problems, fighting obesity, clearing an oily skin and fighting wrinkles.



PROPERTIES
Fennel essential oil has a spicy, sweet and woody scent and its colour is clear to pale yellow having light consistency.


THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES
The therapeutic properties of fennel essential oil include;
Anti-spasmodic, carminative, depurative, diuretic, expectorant, laxative,
stimulant, splenic, stomachic and as a vermifuge.

Anethole, Alpha Terpene, Chineole, Eugenol, Fenchone, Geraniol, Mythyl Chavicol, Limonene, Myrcene, Phellandrene, Pinene, Thymol.
